Additional Admission Criteria
Students who have not studied for a minimum of 3 years in a French-language secondary school can submit one of the following tests to demonstrate their French-language proficiency: The Diplôme d’études en langue française (DELF) achieved with level B2 (at least 70 out of 100) or The Test de français international (TFI) with a result of at least 700 (out of a possible 990) or The Test d’évaluation de français (TEF) (Études version) with a result of at least 600 (out of a possible 900) or The Test du connaissance de français (TCF) with a result of at least 450 (out of a possible 699)
Language Requirements
We are a fully French-language university and proud of it!
An applicant to a program at the UOF has to have completed a minimum of 3 full years in a program where French is the main language of instruction.
Otherwise, the applicant must submit the official results of one of the French-language proficiency tests recognized by the University:
- The Test de français international (TFI) with a score of 700 or above (out of 990).
- The Test d’évaluation de français (TEF) with a score of 600 or above (out of 900).
- The Test de connaissance de français (TCF) with a score of 450 or above (out of 699).
