Holiday Closure

The holiday break is just around the corner, and we will all be taking a well-deserved break before the start of the winter semester.

Wilfrid Laurier University campuses will be closed for the holiday season beginning Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, and will reopen Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.

In-person service will be available until 4 pm on Tuesday, December 23.

Phone service will remain open until 12:30 pm on Tuesday, December 23.

Virtual appointments will be available until Friday, December 19.

Webforms will be accepted until 3 pm on Monday, December 22.

Official document and transcript requests should be submitted no later than December 14 to ensure completion before the holiday closure.

Our Waterloo Campus

Laurier Waterloo is where tradition, innovation and incredible student spirit collide. Centrally located in Waterloo and spanning 1 large city block, you’re only ever a few steps away from your classes, clubs, study spots and favourite coffee shops. At our Waterloo campus, you can choose from over 60 programs in arts, science, business or music that you can customize by pursuing a double degree, a complementary minor or interesting electives.

Outside of the classroom, you can join one (or more!) of our 270+ student clubs and organizations, cheer for—or play on—our varsity teams and explore all that the City of Waterloo has to offer.

Transfer Opportunities

You've already put a lot of time and energy into completing coursework at another college or university – we value that! When you apply to Laurier, we will automatically review all your postsecondary coursework and you may be granted credits towards your Laurier degree. Nothing like a head start, right?
